APARANJAN CANDLES

Aparanjan – which means “bracelet” in Armenian – founded in 2016 by Marseillaise designer Caroline Ohanian. The result of the collaboration with Quintessence Paris became the scented candlewith warm, sun-drenched notes.

A passionate creator with boundless imagination, Caroline has established her distinctive style by drawing inspiration from both Armenia and French culture. The brand’s DNA lies in the opulence of necklaces, bracelets, and rings, with semi-precious stones as a signature element. Our collaboration came to life through a unique candle with enchanting tuberose, gourmet tonka bean, intense vanilla, and spicy lily coming together in an irresistibly sweet trail, immersing us in a boho-chic universe. The illustration on the glass, which was handmade by the masters of the brand and provided by Quintessence Paris, is applied using silkscreen printing. The round box is printed in black and decorated with gold hot stamping. The interesting point is that it was required to paint the candle  glass twice: first with black, then with gold.  The visual identity was designed by the talented graphic artist Noa Benghozi, who drew inspiration from the brand’s universe. She played with themes of flora and fauna, symbols of life, as well as celestial elements, evoking the infinite. Aparanjan offers three variations of the candle: one conceals a necklace hidden in the wax, another contains a pair of earrings, and the third, simpler version, comes without jewelry.
